These terms are a general template. Please seek legal advice before formal commercial use.
1. Nature of the Service
CargoFa (the “Service”) is a SaaS tool for logistics and freight-forwarding businesses, covering shipment management and receivables bookkeeping. It provides record-keeping and management features only, takes no part in actual transportation, customs clearance, or fund transfers, and does not guarantee dealings between you and your customers.
2. Accounts & Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate registration details and keeping your account credentials safe. Actions taken through your account are deemed made or authorized by you. If you notice unusual activity, change your password immediately and contact us.
3. Data Ownership
Business data you enter into the Service — customers, shipments, financial records — belongs to your tenant (company). We do not use your business data for purposes beyond operating and maintaining the Service, nor disclose it to unrelated third parties.
4. Audit & Privacy
To keep the books trustworthy, the Service records a tamper-evident audit log of operations (who, when, and what changed). We collect only what is necessary to run the Service; sensitive data such as passwords is stored encrypted, never in plain text.
5. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by force majeure, network failures, third-party outages, or misuse. Please export and back up important data regularly.
6. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will publish changes on this page. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
